NT Infrastructure Framework
Infrastructure is central to meeting the needs of Territorians.
The Northern Territory Infrastructure Framework provides a clear direction on how the Northern Territory Government will plan, develop and invest in infrastructure projects in the Territory.
The NT Infrastructure Framework:
- aims to deliver better infrastructure, improved infrastructure investment decision making and an improved quality of life for all Territorians
- supports well informed, evidence based investment in infrastructure, including transport and logistics, land, utilities (power and water, digital technologies) and social (health, education, policing, safety, housing and liveability)
- adopts a place-based approach that ensures land and infrastructure planning matches economic and population growth in the Territory as well as the aspirations of Territorians.
It aligns with the Infrastructure Australia Framework and includes an Infrastructure Strategy, Audit Series, Plan Series and Pipeline Series.
